Ustunis Makina offers precise control over one or more machines, including conveyor systems, with just a single control panel. The integrated ABB PLC system is specifically tailored to the shredding process. Various slide and rotor adjustments can be easily fine-tuned to match the specific requirements of the application. All control cabinets are designed and manufactured in-house at our production facilities in Turkiye.

Improved Material Intake for Especially Large Pieces
Thanks to its large internal chamber and hopper, it is highly effective for processing large pieces. With its high ram, it can easily handle any type of plastic material that fits inside the shredder. Rollers are placed at every point where the ram contacts the body, preventing friction. The ram can fully retract from the shredding chamber, allowing maximum material to be processed in a single operation. Unlike flat ram shredders, the rams in our SHDR+ model shredders are angled, making the ram’s operation smoother and more efficient.
Rotor Bearings with Offset Design Enhanced Protection Against Dust and Debris
Processing particularly tough materials demands durable bearings that are easy to maintain. Üstüniş Makina utilizes long-lasting spherical roller bearings, which are designed for stability and mounted offset from the machine frame to prevent impact damage and uncontrolled power transmission. Additionally, an extra shaft seal ring effectively blocks the intrusion of contaminants or dust. Thanks to a copper pipe running inside the rotor, connected to the chiller system, cooling water helps regulate the rotor's temperature. This ensures optimal operating conditions and prevents overheating during intensive shredding processes.
POWERFUL AND CONTROLLED MATERIAL FEEDING WITH THE RAM-TYPE PRESSİNG UNIT
Ram-type flat presses are an excellent choice for shredding hard plastic materials. Thanks to the special serrated design, they grip tough materials and prevent them from slipping during the shredding process. The automation software ensures maximum efficiency without exceeding operational limits, and in the event of material jamming, it retracts to avoid potential damage. The ram contains two hydraulic pistons, ensuring balanced pushing action.
Screen Diameter Options for Maximum Accessibility
Single-shaft shredders typically come equipped with a fixed screw screen. However, there are also hydraulically operated screens that swivel downward, as well as screen baskets that open upward. The best configuration depends on the specific application. Movable screens generally offer improved access to the rotor, making maintenance easier.
Clean and Easy Transport
With Secure Connection hanks to the dual output screw conveyor system, we can transport shredded materials to the desired height. This system is commonly used in our recycling lines. The bolted connection to the shredder’s discharge chamber prevents potential dust and material leakage. Screw diameters and motor power can vary based on working capacity. Alternatively, conveyor outputs are also available based on customer requirements or material specifications.
INCREASED MATERIAL DISCHARGE SPACE
By elevating the machine frame If additional space for material discharge is required, we offer the option to raise the machine frame by up to 200 mm or 500 mm. This allows for greater flexibility in your production process.
Durable and Powerful Drive
With Turkish-Made Gearbox For most applications, mechanical drives are a classic choice due to their ease of maintenance and durability. We have had a long-standing partnership with Turkish-made Yılmaz Gearbox. Torque monitoring and shock-absorbing vibration dampers complete this system. For additional machine protection, a hydrodynamic start-up clutch is available as an option.
Vibration-Reducing Machine Feet
For minimized building vibration Compact feet made from durable hard rubber eliminate the need to anchor the machine to the floor, allowing for flexible installation. More importantly, these feet effectively prevent disruptive vibrations that could impact the surrounding environment.
Increased Throughput
With Turbo Hydraulics The shredder’s ram is hydraulically driven back and forth, and with turbo hydraulics, this movement is even faster. For continuous operation, optional features such as additional oil cooling and a length measurement system are available upon request.
